Formed on a brass base, each piece is shaped into a leaf-like silhouette, then built up through multiple layers of lacquer. After repeated polishing, a warm gold surface emerges—soft yet luminous. Black lacquer is then applied by hand, creating expressive calligraphic strokes that move freely across the form.

The shape is light and slightly curved, allowing the earrings to move gently when worn. The contrast between gold and black brings both clarity and depth, while the irregular brushwork gives each piece its own rhythm.
