The pendant takes the shape of a fan, formed on a brass base and built up through multiple layers of lacquer. A warm gold ground is achieved through repeated coating and polishing, creating a surface that is smooth, soft, and quietly luminous. Bamboo is then painted in black lacquer, with lines that feel natural and unrestrained.

Suspended from a slender silver chain, the piece sits lightly along the neckline. The contrast between gold and black brings clarity, while the curved form introduces a sense of balance and openness.
